Dorna River passing through the city
Situated in the northern part of the country, in Suceava County, this chic town with architectural gems of Austro-Hungarian influence has plenty of advantages which make it even more worthy of having a lot of tourists: it is quite close to the famous painted Moldavian monasteries, it has the fresh strong air and the beautiful landscapes specific to the Oriental Carpathians, horseriding and skiing infrastructure are also available, different trips are being organized here, river-rafting is another option for the more adventurous type, and the food is great - especially the fresh mushroom-dishes and the local soup.
