In order to see the actual glacier, you have to pass through a forest and climb down a spectacular valley on several ladder-like bridges. It is both a quiet and mysterious place that takes you out of your comfort zone and makes you experience the bounty of nature in a different way. Here one can realize the evanescence of everything that exists on this Earth - even a millennial glacier like this will melt, eventually, as if it has never existed.
