| Stingray |
As an important seaport to the Mediterranean Sea, Barcelona is also proud of its Aquarium, one of the most visitor-friendly museums I have encountered. Technical facilities are everywhere, from the way space is lit, to the rolling passages and tunnel-shaped windows under which you can slide, as immersed into the strange universe of the water-world. Diverse species of fish from all the oceans and seas can be seen here: sharks, sea-horses and nautilus, stingrays and calamari, clown-fish, surgeon-fish, even the surreal moon-fish, all floating around your head as if in a surreal universe imagined by Dali.
